Air Locks are the most convenient way to prevent air from getting to the product you are fermenting. At the same time, allowing the fermenting byproduct, CO2 (carbon dioxide) to escape the container safely. Does away with that messy and sometimes hazardous tubing, silicon, duct tape, and water container through one simple little device.

Fill the air lock up half way with water, some people will put Vodka in it instead....no need to but what the heck.

The Double Bubble air lock is very sensitive to pressures and can easily be seen. Occassionally, you will see the barometric pressure is greater than that inside the container.
